I am thrilled to announce that my watercolor painting "Around the Bend Again" has received the Dagmar Tribble Award (First Place) in the Garden State Watercolor Society's 54th Open Juried Exhibition. Many thanks to Douglas Wiltraut, awards juror. The Exhibition is open at the Middletown Arts Center in Middletown, NJ through May 11th.

I am so honored that my painting 'Pier Group II' has been juried into the 157th Annual International Exhibition of the American Watercolor Society to be held in NYC April 2nd-26th. Being selected to have my work hang with many of my watercolor heroes is truly humbling.

This watercolor painting 'Pier Group' has been juried into the NJ Watercolor Society's Annual Exhibition, held at the Middletown Arts' Center. I thoroughly enjoyed painting the punchy dark rectangle shapes in this rickety fishing pier in Avon, NC. The fishermen's silhouettes are directed by the vertical and diagonal lines of their poles.

This view is local to where is live in West Creek. Our Dock Road is three miles long ending at the bay. It's rather quiet in winter, and a few hearty folks live out there. Brrr!

I am so grateful to many art organizations that have gone online during this past year...It has been a positive outlet to create and enter the juried shows. Not every entry gets selected, but this one did! 'The Great Debate' was selected for the Marge Chavoosian Memorial Award in the Garden State Watercolor Society Members Exhibition.
